I spied this last month and thought it was pretty neat. It's a permaculture travelogue, if you will and it feels like you are along for the ride across India as well.
-Equally as engrossing is one person's musings on how Islam and permaculture intersect.
-It looks like Bright Farms has raised almost $5 million more to build greenhouses on urban supermarkets. With 9 in development it is lapping the competition (Gotham Greens and Lufa Farms). Someone needs to analyze how they've managed to get the upper hand in this rapidly developing rooftop battle.
-The Thousands' Win Indiegogo rooftop vineyard campaign is off to a flying start. Nearly $3,000 in just a few days. If I were a betting man, I think that they'd hit their target in under 3 weeks. Their idea is still quirky but not too far out there, highly executable and built on sound science. In addition because it's unique, it can be marked up accordingly and is designed to be consumed over and over again. There's the magic formula! Let's see how close my prediction is.
